LaCanne Family Funeral Service has always been a locally-owned business in Windom. The 7,338 square foot new funeral home was constructed so that Joel and Shannon LaCanne can continue to provide families of the community with a quality funeral service during their special time of need.

LaCanne Funeral Homes, LLC obtained a SBA 504 loan to construct the new facility. It includes: a dividable visitation room that will seat up to 200 people, a lounge with children's play area, a private arrangement room, 1/4 and 1/8 cut casket display modules, office areas, a preparation room, and a 3-stall garage. There are approximately 77 off-street parking stalls.

This project resulted in the creation and retention of three jobs and an increased tax base to the local community.
